Assistant Branch Manager

Assistant Branch Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the branch.  Displays passion, commitment and the drive to deliver and maintain superior member service. Upholds and adheres to the Member Experience Pledge. Supervises, coaches, motivates and assists and encourages employees of the branch. Leads by example, demonstrating a professional demeanor in both attitude and dress and adheres to high ethical and professional standards. Committed to networking within the community to ensure the expansion and growth of Har-co is successful. Communicates closely with their manager and works as an active and effective member of the Har-co team.

Responsibilities  

  • Support sales promotion activities to fulfill business goals and targets.    
  • Process loan applications, process new memberships and cross-sell to generate referrals.  
  • Coach, train, supervise and evaluate the branch staff to enhance individual productivity and enable them to function according to their job description.
  • Provide quality and exceptional service to members.
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure the branch is kept clean, safe and orderly.
  • Ensures that the branch is adequately staffed and maintains monthly schedule, along with the Branch Manager.
  • Adheres to federal regulations, Har-co's policies and procedures and security procedures to protect member information and to avoid losses to the credit union.
  • Manage, process, and review timesheets, payroll, and daily attendance of employees.
  • Performs and is knowledgeable of the duties of employees under their supervision.  
  • Maintains short/over records and payouts.
  • Assists the Branch Manager in completing yearly performance appraisals on time. Assists the Branch Manager in exercising authority concerning employment and termination of employees.
  • Assists the Branch Manager in interviewing, hiring and training of new employees.
  • Completes projects and other duties assigned on a timely basis as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Three(3) years of management experience
  • Three(3) years of customer service and sales experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must possess leadership and supervisory skills
  • Ability to manage multi-functional tasks
  • Ability to delegate
  • Banking/Credit Union background preferred
