Har-co Credit Union is proud to celebrate 70 years of service to the Harford County community. Founded in 1955 to support the financial needs of Harford County Public Schools educators and students, Har-co has grown alongside the community while remaining firmly rooted in its local mission.

For seven decades, Har-co has been more than just a financial institution – it has been a trusted partner for generations of Harford County families. As the county evolved, so did Har-co, expanding its membership in 2018 to serve all who live, work, worship, attend school, or have family in Harford County. Despite that growth, Har-co has never lost sight of its core purpose: to improve the financial lives of its neighbors through personalized service, innovative products, and community- first values.

We have seen tremendous change in our industry and our company, but what hasn’t changed is our foundational and unwavering commitment to our members. We are deeply thankful for the continued trust our members place in us, and we look forward to serving the next generation with that same commitment.”

To mark the occasion, Har-co will host a weeklong celebration from August 18^th- August 22^nd across its branches, including member raffles, snack bars, and fun contest for the community!

As Har-co reflects on its past, looks ahead to the future, the credit union remains committed to being a stable, reliable resource for the Harford County community – just as it has been since 1955.
