November 18, 2022 – Bel Air, MD – Har-co Credit Union has expanded its operations along E. Lee Street in Bel Air, MD!
Har-co Credit Union officially opened the Marketing and Contact Center building at 50 E. Lee Street, across the street from the headquarters. This revitalized building is part of a multi-stage project to turn older buildings in the community into restored usable assets without commercializing the area. The first stage was to open the Resource Center at 54 E. Lee Street while retaining its Downtown Bel Air charm. The project primarily allows Har-co Credit Union to expand its operations to enhance the overall member experience. With the Contact Center located on site at 50 E. Lee, these departments are able to have a dedicated area to supporting members’ needs.
“The member experience is the cornerstone of Har-co.” states Gil Kennedy, President and CEO of Har-co Credit Union. “With this new space dedicated to the Contact Center and Marketing, we are able to expand our space dedicated to these teams so they can focus on enhancing that experience.” Enriching our culture of thought and reflection to bring forth innovative concepts, solutions, and products for our members is paramount to success. Having workable space that encourages employee interaction and team building champions our efforts, The development of 50 and 54 Lee accomplishes that mission.
About Har-co Credit Union - Har-co is a credit union serving all of Harford County. Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships, attends school or has immediate family living in Harford County.
We were founded in 1955 originally as an educational credit union serving the needs the educators and students of Harford County Public Schools. In 2018, we expanded to offer our services to the entire community of Harford County.
Har-co Credit Union is excited to bring its own March bracket tournament to Harford County with 'Har-co Helping Har.Co.'! Har-co Credit Union is including 16 local non-profit organizations in a bracket style competition, as an effort to concurrently raise awareness for these organizations and to support their causes.

The Resource Center idea began as an outgrowth of Har-co Credit Union's strong desire and commitment to support the community. Turning 54 Lee - once used for storage - into a functioning and vibrant space to bring real value to our members has been a priority. This revitalized space will be used to support the community through a variety of initiatives.
