BEL AIR, MD - Har-co is proud to announce that Gil Kennedy, President & CEO of Har-co Credit Union, has joined The Community Foundation of Harford County (CFHC) Board of Directors. “The Community Foundation of Harford County is an outstanding local organization that aligns its values very closely to those of Har-co Credit Union,” stated Gil. “Our main goal is to support local businesses. CFHC does just that and more by donating their time and efforts to aid those in Harford County.”
The Community Foundation of Harford County is dedicated to “promoting and increasing philanthropy by building and managing permanent endowments and gifts to meet the present and emerging needs of Harford County and its nonprofit community.” CFHC is committed to making Harford County a better place. We look forward to supporting our fellow local nonprofit organizations, while promoting the well-being of the community through charitable giving.
Har-co Credit Union is excited to bring its own March bracket tournament to Harford County with 'Har-co Helping Har.Co.'! Har-co Credit Union is including 16 local non-profit organizations in a bracket style competition, as an effort to concurrently raise awareness for these organizations and to support their causes.

Har-co Credit Union is excited to open the doors to the new Har-co Community Resource Center at 54 E. Lee Street in Downtown Bel Air on October 18th 2022! The Resource Center idea began as an outgrowth of Har-co Credit Union's strong desire and commitment to support the community. Turning 54 Lee - once used for storage - into a functioning and vibrant space to bring real value to our members has been a priority. This revitalized space will be used to support the community through a variety of initiatives.
